Belt grinding machine Mod. H.O./3000/200/2UL SPECIAL for working titanium bars up to a diameter of 430 mm., for aeronautic use.
The purpose of working is the reduction of surface roughness, before the ultrasonic non-destructive testing.
For avoiding any contamination of the material, the machine works with pure water and, for this reason, almost the entire machine is made of stainless steel.
The adjustment of the different diameters to be worked is automatically made by PLC, as well as the recovery system and the compensation of working pressure.
The machine is equipped with a special washing circuit for removing the working muds, even inside the hoods containing the abrasive belts, a drying system at the exit and a centralized greasing equipment.
